CleverOS shows up on many screens: a homeowner checking a camera alert at 2am, an operator working an alarm queue, a responder finding a gate in the dark, an admin reconciling a month of billing. Each has different needs, and today one style guide and a small team hold them together.
You will own that design language end to end: research with real users, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity screens and the components developers build from, across mobile and web.
What you'll do
- Own and evolve the CleverCam design system: tokens, components, patterns and the documentation developers work from.
- Design flows and screens for our mobile apps, control-room software and operations tools, from wireframe to pixel-ready.
- Sit with operators, responders and customers to see how the product is really used, and turn that into changes.
- Work daily with developers so what ships matches what was designed.
- Design the marketing surfaces too: website pages, app store assets and social tiles, in the same voice.
- Run quick usability checks before features ship and measure whether they helped.
What you bring
Essential
- Three or more years designing shipped mobile and web products, with a portfolio you can walk us through.
- Fluent in Figma or an equivalent design tool, and in building and maintaining a component library.
- Strong grasp of interaction design, information hierarchy and accessibility.
- Comfortable designing dense, high-stakes interfaces, not only marketing pages.
- Clear communicator who can explain a design decision to an engineer and to a customer.
Advantageous, not essential
- Motion and micro-interaction design.
- Experience with security, operations or field-service products.
- Basic front-end skills to prototype in code.
