CleverOS is one platform with many surfaces: mobile apps for customers, technicians and responders; web apps for control rooms and operations; a cloud backend and database; and services running AI detection on Linux hubs in the field. A senior developer here touches most of it.
You will design and ship features that operators, responders and customers use every day, and you will help set the standard for how we build.
What you'll do
- Design, build and ship features across mobile, web and backend.
- Model data carefully: schemas, access control, migrations and realtime updates.
- Work on the hub side when a feature needs it: on-device services, messaging, camera streams and over-the-air updates.
- Review code, mentor developers and raise the quality bar.
- Own reliability: investigate production issues from logs and data and fix root causes.
- Work directly with the onboarding, support and commercial teams to turn customer problems into product.
What you bring
Essential
- Five or more years building production software, with at least one shipped mobile or web product you can talk about in depth.
- Strong in at least two of: mobile app development, modern web front-ends, relational databases and SQL, backend services.
- Solid SQL and data modelling. You know what an index, a transaction and a race condition are.
- Comfortable across the stack, from a mobile screen to a database migration.
- Pragmatic about shipping, careful about correctness.
- Clear written communication.
Advantageous, not essential
- Cross-platform mobile frameworks, serverless backends, IoT messaging, video pipelines, on-device ML inference, Linux.
- Experience with security, alarm or IoT products.
