Every security company that moves onto CleverOS needs someone to take them from 'signed up' to 'running on it': setting up their sites, training their operators and responders, and being the first call when something does not work.
No specific degree is required. Teachers, trainers, IT or CCTV support people and self-taught technologists all do well here. What matters is that you learn technology fast, explain it simply, and stay calm with a customer on the line.
What you'll do
- Learn CleverOS, CleverCommand, the CleverAlert app and our hub hardware well enough to teach them.
- Onboard new customers and partners: set up their sites, users and cameras with them and get their team live.
- Run product training and demonstrations, on site and remotely.
- Provide first-line technical support by phone, WhatsApp and email, and escalate clearly when needed.
- Write and maintain simple guides, videos and procedures.
- Gather customer feedback and flag recurring problems to the product team.
What you bring
Essential
- A qualification in Education, Teaching, Training or a technical field, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Demonstrated aptitude for technology: you pick up new software quickly and are comfortable with networks and devices.
- Excellent spoken and written communication.
- Patience and a customer-first attitude.
- Organised and detail-oriented.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Advantageous, not essential
- Experience in technical support, CCTV, alarm systems, IT or networking.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English.
Who you are
- A teacher:
- can take something complicated and make it easy to understand.
- A fast learner:
- becomes proficient in unfamiliar technology quickly.
- Calm:
- stays patient and clear when a customer is frustrated.
- Practical:
- enjoys getting hands-on with technology.
- Organised:
- follows through and keeps track of open issues.
The opportunity
The role can grow into leading onboarding, training or customer success, or into product roles, as the company grows.
