CleverCam turns existing CCTV into verified AI alarms. That only works when the camera streams are right: the correct sub-stream, codec, resolution and frame rate, on a network that stays up. Most of the problems we see in the field are camera and network problems.
You will be the person who knows Hikvision, Dahua and the rest inside out, gets sites configured properly, and teaches installers to do the same.
What you'll do
- Configure cameras and NVRs for AI detection: RTSP and ONVIF, sub-streams, H.264 and H.265, resolution, frame rate and bitrate.
- Survey and commission sites: camera placement for detection, network layout, PoE, routers and LTE failover.
- Troubleshoot streams remotely and on site: dropped connections, decode issues, NVR quirks and network faults.
- Support and train installer partners and write configuration guides per camera brand.
- Work with the software team on brand-specific integration and stream optimisation.
What you bring
Essential
- Three or more years installing and commissioning IP CCTV.
- Deep hands-on knowledge of Hikvision and Dahua, working knowledge of Axis, Provision and others.
- Networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnets, VLANs, port forwarding and PoE budgets.
- Methodical troubleshooting.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel.
Advantageous, not essential
- PSIRA registration.
- Experience with alarm panels, NVR and VMS platforms, wireless and fibre links, and Teltonika or similar routers.
